Whombat Subscription Terms

These terms cover your Whombat subscription: what you pay, for how long, and what happens when it ends. You accept them for your company when you set up your organization on Whombat. The software on your Whombat is covered by the Whombat Appliance Terms, which you accept when you claim a Whombat.

Your organization has one account, the one you set it up with. Your Whombats and your subscription belong to it.

For businesses only

Whombat is sold to businesses, not to consumers. By accepting these terms you confirm that you set up the subscription for a company or other organization, and that you may accept terms on its behalf.

Your free trial

  • A new subscription starts with a free trial of 14 days (or the length shown when you start it). You add a card when the trial starts.
  • We don't charge the card during the trial. When the trial ends, the subscription continues and the first month is charged, unless you cancelled before then.

Price and payment

  • There is one plan: €49 a month for each Whombat you pay for.
  • Prices are shown excluding VAT. VAT is added where it applies, or reverse-charged for businesses in other EU countries with a valid VAT ID.
  • The subscription continues month by month until it's cancelled. If you add a Whombat during a month, you pay the difference for the rest of that month.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time in Billing. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period (or the end of the trial): until then everything keeps working, and nothing more is charged afterwards.

When a subscription ends or isn't paid

When a subscription ends, or a payment keeps failing, your Whombat keeps running with its paid features paused:

  • your agent and automations pause, and new automations can't be added;
  • you can still sign in, read and export everything, and the recovery kit keeps working;
  • security updates keep coming while your Whombat's release is supported.

Nothing is deleted. Subscribe again and everything picks up where it left off.

Your data

Your data stays on your Whombat. Whombat's cloud only knows what it needs to run your account (your organization, your email address, your Whombats and your subscription) and can't read what's on your Whombat. Payments go through our payment provider; we never see your full card number.
